My Trip to Niagara Falls

[slideshow] Last month I visited Niagara Falls which is located in  Ontario, Canada. Niagara Falls, also known as the Canadian Horseshoe falls stands 167 feet tall, the length of brink is 2600 feet and the volume of water is approximately 600,000 u.s gallons per second!! It is the second largest falls on the globe next to Victoria falls in South Africa. Niagara Falls is like a mini version of Vegas complete with roaming mobs of bachelors and gamblers anonymous. It’s an hour and a half drive away from downtown Toronto so bring comfortable shoes and an umbrella if you want to get closer to the falls but don’t worry they dress you up in blue smurf raincoats when you board the maid of the mist which is a must do!! The food was definitely not a highlight of this trip, expect large portions, poor service and pay large for it.  With America being just across the way it was what it was.

You can’t leave before visiting one of the gorgeous wineries in Niagara on the Lake. Make sure to We chose to visit Peller Estates. Peller Estates began in 1927 when Andrew Peller first arrived to Canada and planted his first vineyard in British Columbia’s Okanagan Valley and in 1969 the offer to purchase a winery and winemaking license in Ontario was accepted! The Peller Estates restaurant was absolutely heaven for our lips and as they call it Fabulicious! Paired perfectly with what wines were suggested. You may find the pairing dinner or lunch experiences at www.peller.com. Dining and drinking Ice Wine at the Pellar estates was my favourite. Well that was the end of my trip, I hope you enjoyed it too as Niagara is now one of my top favourite for a fun couples mini getaway in Canada.  Thanks for reading and please follow me on Twitter @rinachong @livelovendate @tips4guys and join me on Facebook at Rinaisan Angel (must be spelled exactly).  Have a fabulous day!
